| How
do we replace your old countertops with new Corian, Quartz
or Granite tops? |
| |
| We specialize in replacing
your countertops in one day. We template with the old
tops in place, fabricate at our shop, then return to remove
and install the new tops at a later date. This means that
you will only be out of your kitchen for only one day
- the day of the installation. It works like this: |
| |
| The first step is to learn
about the differenct types of countertops and narrow down
the material choices and colors. You can do that by researching
the internet or stopping by our showroom and looking at
samples. |
| |
| Next you want to get a written
quote on your exact project. Go to the Get
A Quote page and bring in a drawing of your project
when you visit our showroom. |
| |
| After you put a deposit on
the job, you are welcome to check out the material and
color samples to take them home to help you make an informed
choice. We will put your job on the schedule for template
and fabrication. |
| |
| First, we need to template
your kitchen countertop. To template we will need you
to clean off the top of the countertops and have all the
appliances on site that will be used in your project.
This includes sinks and faucets. We can template with
the old countertops in place. This allows you to continue
to use your kitchen until we return with the new countertops. |
| |
| When fabrication is completed
of your new top, we will make an appointment for installation.
You have the choice of removing the old countertops your
self, or we offer that service for a fee. On the day of
the installation, it would be best if you cleaned out
your cabinets and removed the drawers so when the old
tops are removed, the dust will not dirty the contents
of the cabinets. |
| |
| The cabinets will need to
be level, right to left, front to back, side to side and
on angle with in 1/8" over 8'. We will do minor leveling
to meet warranty installation requirements. We also install
any underlayment as required by each materials manufacterer. |
| |
| Finally, we install the new
countertop. This usually takes less than 8 hours. We do
not hook up any plumbing, electric or gas. |
